Anton du Beke's Afternoon Tea Raises Over £70k for The Sick Children's Trust

Anton du Beke took to his Facebook page to express his elation over the success of an afternoon tea event held in support of The Sick Children's Trust. The event, which saw an impressive turnout, managed to raise over £70,000 for the charity's noble cause.

"I’m overjoyed to tell you that we raised over £70,000 at our afternoon tea in support of The Sick Children's Trust!" exclaimed du Beke in his post.

The event also featured performances from Dance Envy, KLA Dance and Tom Longhurst, and Isabelle Carlick. Attendees were treated to enchanting musical renditions by Classical Reflection and Russell Jones and Anton was joined and assisted by the talented Rosie Ward throughout the event.

Expressing his deep commitment to the cause, du Beke, who serves as an ambassador for The Sick Children's Trust, highlighted the tremendous impact of their fundraising efforts over the past year.

"I’m delighted to be an ambassador for this wonderful charity, and in the last year, we have raised a sensational £110,000 from the golf day and Tea which will support families for 2,750 nights, keeping them close to their seriously ill children while they are in hospital," remarked du Beke.

The funds raised from the event are expected to provide crucial support to families in need, offering them accommodation and support through The Sick Children's Trust's 'Homes from Home' initiative.

Expressing gratitude to all those who attended and contributed, du Beke concluded his post with anticipation for future events, saying, "A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and donated to support The Sick Children’s Trust and their vital ‘Homes from Home’. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next one!"
