2024 will see the 49th anniversary of the British National Dance Championship. This competition displays the best British Ballroom and Latin dancing.

Originally titled The British Closed Championships, the competition was renamed in 1997.

The Festival covers three days and takes place in the beautiful Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens. The Juveniles and Juniors dance on the Saturday afternoon and early evening.
